About Dr. Peterson

Dr. Peterson is a board-certified internal medicine physician and notary public for the state of Connecticut (USA). He curently practices primarily in his role as a fellow in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Yale New Haven Health system as well as the West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital.

He obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering and Material Science in 2012 at the University of Connecticut before attending the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Graduating in 2016. He subsequently served in the US Navy and completed his internal medicine training at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia in 2021. He assumed hus current position as a fellow training in Pulmonary and Critical Care in 2023 after leaving the US Navy and will remain in this role through the summer of 2026.

His research interests are in clinical informatics and he is currently pursuing additional training in clinical informatics and data science alongside his clinical fellowship training.

Services

Intensive Care Medicine

Critical care medicine provided within the medical ICU such as infusions to increase blood pressure and the use of mechanical ventilators.

Pulmonology

Diseases of the lungs and breathing such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, or lung fibrosis.

Internal Medicine

Comprehensive general adult medical care both in the primary care setting and hospital setting.

Notary Services

He can and will notarize stuff.
